YOUR PORSCHE REPORT
Record availability varies by vehicle.
Compare the report with invoices.
A Porsche’s maintenance evidence can be spread across service-book pages, workshop invoices and digital records. Our VIN-based report supplies the available dealer-record information in an emailed PDF, helping you compare recorded work with the history described by the seller.
The manufacturer’s My Porsche maintenance-history guidance concerns selected models and currently describes service entries from April 2025 onwards. That app view should not be treated as a complete record of an older car. Keep earlier Porsche Centre and specialist paperwork as well.
Available information may show service dates, inspections, repair descriptions, mileage and workshop details. Look for named work when checking a claim about oil, filters, brake fluid or another maintenance item. One workshop event does not establish that every task required for that vehicle was completed.
Technical data, factory equipment and campaign information may also be supplied. A latest key-related mileage reading can add context where available, but it represents a recorded observation. Neither that reading nor a history report is a current mechanical inspection or a Porsche warranty certificate.
THE RECORDS EXPLAINED
Look at what an entry actually describes. The existence of a workshop event does not prove that every scheduled maintenance task was completed.
A recorded maintenance visit. Check the date, mileage and listed tasks; use the invoice to clarify what the work included.
Work to investigate or fix a fault. A repair can be important evidence without being a scheduled service.
A reading captured at a particular moment. Depending on the source, it may contain mileage or other information; it is not proof of servicing.
These are educational illustrations, not vehicle records or examples of a particular manufacturer’s interface.
Identify the event before judging its significance. A service documents recorded maintenance; a repair may address a fault; a key-related reading, where supplied, records an observation at a particular time. These entries should not all be counted as completed services.
Keep dates, units and the source of each reading together. Compare a key reading with other evidence from relevant dates, rather than using it to infer that lifetime mileage is guaranteed. Request an invoice when a seller’s claim about additional work is more specific than the available description.
The examples below are fictional teaching graphics, not original Porsche documents. Read the Porsche service-history interpretation guide for a wider approach to the evidence.
Illustrative examples. The dates, readings and work below are fictional teaching data. These graphics are not extracts from a Porsche report and do not show records for a real vehicle.
Enlarge example ↗The example pairs 15 March 2023 with 24,180 miles (about 38,914 km), 22 September 2024 with 37,420 miles (about 60,222 km), and 8 May 2025 with 51,860 miles (about 83,461 km). Confirm the original unit, then compare the chronological entries with invoices. A reading is not a guarantee of lifetime mileage.
Enlarge example ↗An engine oil service, a brake fluid service and a vehicle inspection describe different work. One entry does not confirm that every scheduled task was completed. Check the wording and outcome against invoices and the full source report.
The VIN, model year and actual workshop history determine the information available. A Macan, 911, Cayenne or another Porsche model name does not guarantee that every earlier visit appears in one digital search. The limits of the My Porsche app feature are separate from the availability of other workshop documents.
Retain Porsche Centre and independent specialist invoices, including overseas paperwork where relevant. Compare the described work with the maintenance requirements for the exact car. Our missing-history checklist helps identify what to request when the record leaves an important question unanswered.
The price for one vehicle is £19.00, as shown in the purchase summary. You are buying one report for the VIN supplied.
Estimated delivery: usually around 120 minutes; processing can take up to 12 hours. Reports are individually prepared; the Terms and Conditions provide for delivery within 24 hours of payment confirmation. Timing depends on record availability and the external systems used.
THE RECORDS EXPLAINED
Compare the full identifier on the vehicle with its documents before requesting records. Locations vary: check the handbook for the particular car.
Many cars display the VIN at the base of the windscreen. Read it from the vehicle rather than relying only on the advert.
Where accessible, compare another manufacturer-marked location, such as a body plate. Use the handbook to find it.
Match the full VIN on the vehicle to the V5C registration document. Investigate a mismatch before proceeding.
The document drawing is an unbranded outline, not a V5C facsimile. A registration number identifies the registration; it is not the VIN.

BEFORE YOU ORDER
The manufacturer’s current app guidance covers selected models and describes services from April 2025 onwards. Keep earlier service-book pages and workshop documents; the scope of that app feature is separate from other available records.
Where supplied, it records an observation associated with a particular event. Compare its date and unit with other documents. It is not a service entry or a guarantee that lifetime mileage was never altered.
The report provides available information from the sources checked. It does not promise a copy of every original invoice; request supporting paperwork from the seller or servicing workshop.
Enter the 17-character VIN on this product page before adding the report to your basket, then confirm it at checkout. Check it against the car and its registration document before paying.
You are eligible for a full refund if no service history information is found for your VIN. Email info@vinhistory.co.uk within 14 days with your order number and VIN. Delivered reports containing verifiable history are subject to the refund policy.
