Excellent service. Easy to order, clear results, and detailed information
MERCEDES-BENZ · SERVICE RECORDS BY VIN
Order a Mercedes-Benz service history check by VIN. Read available DSB service entries, recorded work and mileage in an emailed PDF.
Estimate: usually 20–120 min. Deadline: 24h after payment confirmation.
YOUR MERCEDES-BENZ REPORT
Record availability varies by vehicle.
Compare the report with invoices.
The Mercedes-Benz Digital Service Booklet (DSB) records maintenance electronically. Reading the available service history can help you establish what a workshop recorded, when it happened and which reading belongs to that visit. Our VIN-based report supplies the available dealer-record information in a PDF you can keep with the car’s other documents.
Use the service report together with itemised invoices, especially when a seller describes additional work. The Mercedes-Benz DSB information provides manufacturer context; the detail in your report depends on the vehicle and the records available for its VIN.
Available history may include A or B service entries, their dates and mileage, maintenance descriptions, diagnostic entries or warranty repairs. Read the named tasks rather than relying on the A/B label alone. A visit does not automatically confirm every additional item required for a particular model, age or mileage.
Technical details, original equipment and campaign information may also be supplied. These fields help put the maintenance record in context. They are separate from a current mechanical inspection or confirmation of present warranty eligibility.
The genuine sample records Service B, an engine oil and filter change, oil quality 229.3 and viscosity 5W-30. Those are historical details for the sample vehicle. They are not an oil recommendation for another Mercedes-Benz. Remaining time or distance describes a reminder field, not another completed maintenance task.
The dated crop is 19 November 2013 at 41,683 km. Keep that date and unit attached to the observation when comparing documents. It is an older example, not evidence that the vehicle you are checking was recently serviced. See the DSB and paper service-book comparison for the role of supporting paperwork.
Look for named work rather than relying on the service label alone.
Enlarge image These fields describe this vehicle’s historical entry. They do not prescribe oil for your car. Remaining time and distance are reminder fields, separate from the work recorded.
Place the report entry within the vehicle’s timeline.
Enlarge image This is a historical sample, not a recent service for the car you are checking. The reading is recorded in kilometres and does not guarantee lifetime mileage.
THE RECORDS EXPLAINED
Build one timeline from the available entries and invoices, then compare like with like. Keep the original reading and its unit alongside any conversion.
Record when each observation was made. An invoice date, workshop visit and MOT test may refer to different events.
For comparison, 10,000 miles is approximately 16,093 kilometres. Divide kilometres by 1.609344 to obtain miles.
Check source documents if a reading falls or the units are unclear. Ask the seller or named workshop for an explanation.
Illustrative conversion only: 1 mile = 1.609344 kilometres. The rounded example is not a reading from a customer’s vehicle. A gap alone does not prove a fault or fraud.
Availability follows the individual VIN and the information held in the sources checked. Older service books, workshop printouts and overseas invoices may cover periods that a digital result does not explain. A vehicle’s model or country of registration alone does not establish a complete history.
For a missing visit, identify the workshop, ask for its invoice or digital service report and compare the actual work with the seller’s claim. Our missing Mercedes DSB entries guide gives a practical way to organise that enquiry. Compare dated readings with MOT observations using the same unit before drawing a conclusion.
The price for one vehicle is £19.00, as shown in the purchase summary. You are buying one report for the VIN supplied.
Estimated delivery: usually 20–120 minutes. Reports are individually prepared; the Terms and Conditions provide for delivery within 24 hours of payment confirmation. Timing depends on record availability and the external systems used.
THE RECORDS EXPLAINED
Compare the full identifier on the vehicle with its documents before requesting records. Locations vary: check the handbook for the particular car.
Many cars display the VIN at the base of the windscreen. Read it from the vehicle rather than relying only on the advert.
Where accessible, compare another manufacturer-marked location, such as a body plate. Use the handbook to find it.
Match the full VIN on the vehicle to the V5C registration document. Investigate a mismatch before proceeding.
The document drawing is an unbranded outline, not a V5C facsimile. A registration number identifies the registration; it is not the VIN.
If our search finds no service history information for your VIN, you are eligible for a full refund. Email info@vinhistory.co.uk within 14 days with your order number and VIN. A delivered report containing verifiable history is subject to the refund policy.
For a PDF that will not open or a delivery question, contact us with the order number. Read the delivery information before ordering.
VinHistory.co.uk is operated by Ohia Expert and is an independent service. Manufacturer records are the data used for the report; this does not make VinHistory a Mercedes-Benz dealership or imply a manufacturer partnership.
Review any customer feedback displayed with the product and the operator’s contact details before ordering. Our terms explain the seller, fulfilment and order conditions.
BEFORE YOU ORDER
The label identifies a service entry. Read the listed work and supporting invoice to establish which tasks were recorded for that vehicle. Additional model-specific work should be checked separately.
No. Reminder fields describe when work may be due. They are different from a dated service entry describing work already recorded.
The sample documents one vehicle’s historical service. Use the correct manufacturer requirements for your own vehicle; the sample is not a maintenance prescription.
Enter the 17-character VIN on this product page before adding the report to your basket, then confirm it at checkout. Check it against the car and its registration document before paying.
You are eligible for a full refund if no service history information is found for your VIN. Email info@vinhistory.co.uk within 14 days with your order number and VIN. Delivered reports containing verifiable history are subject to the refund policy.
